Tertiary Ministry

We have an experienced team of tertiary chaplains who are available to students and staff for any needs they might have, including:

  • pastoral care
  • worship services
  • accommodation
  • spiritual advice
  • teaching.

The chaplains are also links to many other services and groups that can assist and enhance the experience of tertiary students and staff. They operate within the gracious and liberating theology of the Lutheran Church and its confessions.

Lutheran Students & Friends

Lutheran Students & Friends is a student-organised group on several Australian university campuses, who run their own events, camps, small groups and social events.

As a very welcoming community living out of the grace of God, they accept people from a wide range of backgrounds. Open and exploratory discussions about faith and a wide number of issues are encouraged and nurtured, especially through their small groups, camps, magazines and online discussions. They operate both on and off campus so that where LSF may not have a campus presence, students are invited to check out events off campus on the weekends and evenings.

Activities include worship services, Bible studies, social and sporting events, conferences and camps. A national conference is usually held each year in the New Year holiday break.
