An online learning opportunity for all
Registrations are open for Australian Lutheran College’s (ALC) 2024 Festival of Learning, which will be held exclusively online from Tuesday 20 February to Thursday 22 February.
A varied program built around the theme, ‘Challenging boundaries – life at the edges’ is on offer this year. The festival is open to anyone interested, and many of the presentations also provide an affordable professional development opportunity for teachers, pastors, lay workers and chaplains.
The Festival of Learning recognises that the Christian community has a rich history of gathering to learn together. ALC and its predecessors have always been an integral part of this learning culture, and this festival offers an annual opportunity to celebrate and learn together.
Over the three days of the festival, 26 speakers will deliver presentations on a range of topics, including:
- navigating ministry in uncertain times
- welcoming refugees in Jesus’ name
- shining a light on DFV and religion in Australia
- ethical responsibility at the edges of death.
Full registration costs $150 (concession fee $100) and enables you to choose up to 11 electives, while a four-elective pass costs $80, and a two-elective pass costs just $40.
Registered participants who cannot attend a session during the programmed timeslot can access a recording after the presentation.
View the full program on the Festival of Learning event page.
Registrations close at noon (ACST) on 13 February 2024.
