Applications for local mission funds close soon
Do you have a local mission idea? Would it benefit from local mission support?
The Local Mission Fund and Seed Project funds have been established to enhance mission culture across the church. Funds are available as Seed Project Funds (maximum value of $10,000) and Local Mission Funds (maximum value of $100,000). The fund will help congregations, districts and agencies as they seek new ways of reaching their neighbours and their communities with the gospel.
The LCANZ is committed to supporting each project by providing the assistance of a churchwide local mission coordinator through application support, coaching, project monitoring, implementation and reporting requirements to all approved applications.
Applications for both grants close on Monday 26 August 2024, so consider prayerfully preparing an application today.
Projects will have to align with select criteria, as outlined here. They will be assessed by a selection committee comprised of a bishop and affiliated representatives, a district mission director, two congregational practitioners, a local mission coordinator and any additional experts as required.
Visit the Local Mission Fund webpage for more information, including a downloadable video, the application criteria, selection criteria and application/expression of interest forms.
