Lutheran schools named finalists in national awards
Five Australian Lutheran schools have been nominated as finalists in the Australian Education Awards 2020.
Immanuel College Novar Gardens in South Australia is a finalist in both the Secondary School of the Year – Non-government section and the Boarding School of the Year category for the awards, which will be announced in October in Sydney.
Good Shepherd College Hamilton in Victoria is in the running for the title of Regional School of the Year, while Bethany Lutheran Primary School at Raceview in Queensland and Redeemer Lutheran School Nuriootpa in South Australia’s Barossa Valley are both finalists in the Primary School of the Year – Non-government category. Trinity Lutheran College Ashmore on Queensland’s Gold Coast is up for the Innovation in Learning Environment Design award for its Senior Learning Precinct.
Trinity’s Head of Year 6 Kate Roberts also has been named one of The Educator magazine’s Rising Stars for 2020.
