Lift up families

Lift up Christian families before God the Father, from whom every family in heaven and earth gets its name.

Ask for God to send forth his Spirit to mothers and fathers and sons and daughters, so that ‘the next generation may declare the marvellous deeds of the Lord (Psalm 78:4­­­­–6).

Pray for God’s comfort for parents and grandparents who are grieving that their children and grandchildren do not actively practice their baptismal faith.

Ask that God would so move that people across the generations return to Jesus and find Christian communities that can nurture them in following Jesus.­­
